TST is a small charity run by a dedicated team working remotely. Our board of trustees oversees the Trust and sets the policies for the support that we work to.
Our trustees bring expertise from education, finance, technology and the charity sector, guiding the Trust and overseeing our grants.
Chair of the Board of Trustees
Grants + Investment & FinanceJohn is a retired headmaster with over 30 years of school leadership experience. He has been a TST trustee since its launch in 2017 and was a trustee of its predecessor charity. He is Chair of the Board of Trustees and serves on both the Grants and the Investment and Finance committees.
Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees
Investment & FinanceEd is Director of Teaching and Learning at Westminster School, London and teaches Chemistry. He is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and serves on the Investment and Finance Committee.
Treasurer
Chair, Investment & FinanceRichard is a Chartered Accountant with experience of executive and non-executive roles in schools and Multi-Academy Trusts. Now retired, he is the Treasurer and Chair of the Investment and Finance Committee.

Investment & FinanceKaushik is a senior technology leader who works for BlackRock as a Senior Director. He serves on the Investment and Finance Committee.

GrantsJane is a Chartered Accountant and former Chief Executive of a social enterprise. She spent many years in the NHS and government, in finance and governance leadership roles. Jane serves on the Grants Committee.

Fundraising & CommunicationsSabrina is Chief Engagement Officer for the education charity The Brilliant Club. Growing up in a household where no one could read or write, she saw from an early age the transformative power of education and excellent teachers. Sabrina advises on fundraising and communications.

Chair, GrantsMell has over 16 years of school leadership. Now a retired headteacher working as an education consultant, she is completing her Level 5 coaching qualification with the Institute of Leadership and Management. Mell chairs the Grants Committee.

GrantsMartin leads the Professional Services functions at ASU London and has worked in senior finance and operational roles in world-leading educational providers since 2010. Martin is a previous Treasurer and now serves on the Grants Committee.

Investment & FinanceTobias is a highly experienced financial services professional with a 30+ year track record in investment banking. He is a senior adviser and consultant to investment banks, hedge funds, PE and family offices, and serves on the Investment and Finance Committee.
The people running the Trust day to day, assessing applications and getting support to where it's needed.
Chief Executive
Lindsey is a small charity CEO with entrepreneurial spirit. A portfolio professional for many years, she has leadership experience across sectors, including start-ups and technology. Lindsey is passionate about positive grant-making that empowers individuals and promotes financial wellbeing. She joined TST in January 2025.
Grants Officer
Kerry is a reliable and organised professional with a background in the Armed Forces and charity coordination. She joined TST as a Grants Officer in July 2025.

Christina is a risk and compliance professional with experience in accountancy, banking and foreign exchange firms. She joined TST as a Grants Officer in July 2026.
